Food isn't the enemy.
In fact food is a gift meant to be fully enjoyed. Why else would we have built-in taste buds? The issue for someone who is struggling to loose weight, is how to find the balance between loving food in moderation and loving food too much, too often.
Most diet programs want to lure you in with the promise to give you all of your favorite foods. If we lived in Disneyland, this may equal long-term weight loss. However, the way I teach it is this: If your favorite foods got you into trouble, why would trying to lose weight by eating them, be a good idea.
Learning how to find the freedom to eat foods you love is definately part of the plan. However, choosing what I call "clean foods" and "celebration foods" is all about learning my "80/20 plan". You can learn more about it in my books.
